He first explored the ocean diving at age 10 and was immediately hooked. Having explored the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, the Pacific, and the Red Sea, Robert went hunting for Africa’s big fish and landed in the Indian Ocean, washing up on the shores of Tofo.
Since 2010 he’s led diving excursions in Mozambique and South Africa and has an excellent knowledge of local marine life and a passion for bringing the underwater world to the surface via film, so holiday memories won’t be hard to capture. Fluent in English, Spanish, Catalan as well as speaking Portuguese and Italian, he is able to, and enjoys very much, sharing his love of diving with our clients.

He has been leading safaris in Southern Africa for over 10 years and is a highly experienced level-1 Field Guide. His passions are contagious and infuse every excursion with a fresh look at the natural world and how we perceive it. He’s cut from an amiable and compassionate cloth and stitched together with a loquacious nature. The epitome of friendly, he’s always willing to share his wildlife, or life, experiences with clients.
He brings along helpful guidebooks and photos to aid in identification and possesses a well-versed background in Kruger’s various flora and fauna. A warm and experienced guide, Robert excels at intimate safari tours and making each trip truly special.

He is a gregarious local business owner with over a decade of experience in tourism, several of which have been spent living in Tofo, which is why he knows all about our local area and is able to show you, what you probably would not find on your own. His positive attitude is contagious and his love of leisure and people is well suited for guiding active day trips in and around Tofo. Robert is passionate about wildlife, food, and adventure so whether you’re after reefs, restaurants, or back roads, he’s got you covered!

Starting her diving career in the green lakes of Tulum, Mexico, she immediately fell in love with the concept of being able to breath under water and feeling as though being part of a whole new world. Being raised in a different environment than her colleagues, where scuba diving didn’t even seem to exist, she never got rid of the feeling of missing out for so many years.
Which is why she furiously continued and was quick to climb up her ladder to being an Open Water and Specialty Instructor. With a background of many years of volunteer working with children and adults and a personal interest in psychiatry and pedagogics, she brings the perfect amount of patience and understanding, that new or/ and experiences divers sometimes require. With a generally thirsty-for-knowledge nature, she is always keen to learn and is most definitely to share some random facts and knowledge with you.

Being born with the blood of a Graphic Designer, Lachin was always drawn and fascinated by the digital world and self taught herself a basic understanding of filming, editing, designing and writing, which were the exact requirements that got her into the small Mozambique Experience family.
Always ready to keep hold of your memories, she’s right there with the camera to catch the best moments. Apart from that, she brings the right amount of a female touch, love & eye for details and energy to make sure that you and our future clients know the difference between an agency and a proper Experience.

With her natural curious mind, she is always keen to get to know her area and surroundings, which is why she quickly learned of Tofo and around, so any questions are an easy but sincere task. Always up for the more adventurous activities around Tofo, she will be the first one to suggest a Quad Bike, Kayak or a Dhow boat tour and make sure to collect the best moment of your Experiences on camera.
With a slightly different language history, she covers the more Eurasien languages with her mother language Azeri and Turkish, but also English and German, as well as conversational in Spanish, and a trained and welcoming ear for more languages to come.

He has been a dive master for nearly a decade, plying his expertise in worldwide destinations such as Egypt, Ibiza, Thailand, South Africa and our very own Mozambique where he’s been operating for the past 3 years. He’s earned a reputation as an excellent spotter, above the water on Ocean Safaris and below, so stay close to him if you’re after a Whale Shark sighting. Mono has an extensive wildlife background and an intimate knowledge of the unique marine life that calls Tofo Bay home and those that are just passing through, such as our seasonal humpback visitors. Always eager to help and explore, Mono is a great asset to any dive trip!

He may have received his nickname by climbing the facades of Barcelona but the moniker, alluding to primates, seems even more fitting now that he’s a Level-1 Field Guide in Southern Africa. His proficiency at spotting game is paired with humility for the game he spots. A kind disposition and courteous heart, Mono brings a feeling of magical contentment to each and every tour he leads.
While he’s been guiding in Mozambique and South Africa for the past 3 years, he also boasts a wealth of group tour expertise, having previously worked in Europe’s Pyrenees as a climbing, trekking and snowboarding guide. Mono’s keenness for wildlife is fully immersive; when he isn’t with groups experiencing nature’s wonders first-hand so he’s studying and reflecting on them so he’s even more prepared for his next encounter.
