Imagine swimming with whales, swimming with whale sharks and oceanic manta rays, exploring untouched coral reefs teeming with marine life, and in the same trip, being able to see one of the most complicated marine animals, the dugong!
We present you the programme where we combine two nearby dive destinations, Praia do Tofo and the Bazaruto Archipelago, near Vilanculos... The programme can be started with one destination or the other. The distance between the two destinations is approximately 4 hours by road.
Where to fly
We recommend flying to Maputo, with the airlines TAP, Emirates, Qatar, or Turkish. Once in Mozambique, the local airline Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM) has an internal flight to Inhambane, located 23 km from Praia do Tofo, and the same flight also goes to Vilanculos.
Optionally you can also fly to Johannesburg in South Africa and take a flight to Vilanculos with LAM or CemAir. In this case we recommend to start the programme at this destination and then head south to Praia do Tofo.
We can also pick you up at Maputo airport, bearing in mind that it is an 8-hour drive to Praia do Tofo.
We can adjust the itinerary according to your flexibility and preferences.
From your arrival in Africa until your departure, we will always be by your side to accompany you in this experience.
Day 1
ARRIVAL TO MOZAMBIQUE
Arrival at Inhambane Airport (Mozambique), where we will be waiting for you. Transfer by road to Praia do Tofo (20 min).
On arrival we will check in at the dive centre and accommodation.
Free afternoon to visit the fishing village of Tofo and the neighbouring Praia da Barra.
Dinner, which is not included, can be arranged at the accommodation or at a restaurant in the village.
Day 2 to day 6
DIVING TOFO
Daily breakfasts at the accommodation.
Transfers to the dive centre, when necessary. We will do 2 dives daily in the morning, with an optional third dive in the afternoon or other activity.
Lunches and dinners are not included, and will be at the accommodation or in the village restaurants.

Day 7
TRANSFER TO VILANCULOS
Breakfast at the accommodation. Morning at leisure or optional activity.
After lunch in Tofo, transfer by road to Vilanculos, approximately 4 hours.
On arrival we will check in at the lodge.
Dinner, which is not included, can be arranged at the lodge or in a restaurant in the village of Vilanculos.
Day 8 and day 9
ADVENTURE DIVING IN BAZARUTO ARCHIPELAGOUS
Daily breakfast at the accommodation.
Daily transfers to the dive centre, where after preparing the diving equipment and filling in the necessary documentation for the Marine Park, we head by zodiac to the Bazaruto Archipelago, approx. 45 minutes.
2 dives per day, with lunch included on Bazaruto Island, and search for dugongs between dives, and at the end of the dives (depending on the tides).
By 16.30 we are back on the mainland.
Dinners, which are not included, can be arranged at the accommodation or in a restaurant in the village of Vilanculos.

Day 10
DEPARTURE TO MAPUTO
Breakfast at accommodation. Morning at leisure.
Transfer by road to Vilanculos Airport (15 min). Flight with LAM (not included) from Inhambane to Maputo.
Pick up at Maputo Airport and transfer to accommodation.
Dinner, which is not included, can be arranged at the accommodation or at a restaurant in Maputo City.
Day 11
DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the accommodation.
Transfer to Maputo Airport (15 min).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
• 50% deposit required to confirm the booking of the Experience, and remaining 50% to be paid 60 days prior to arrival • All payments done by providing bank card details will carry an extra 5% (bank fees) • All payments done through PayPal will carry an extra 5% • All payments done by bank transfers to be done using “banking our instructions” (client pays all bank transfer charges) • By paying the deposit you are deemed to have accepted our terms & conditions • Cancellations before 60 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of total booking amount (during local public holidays will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of total booking amount) • Cancellations after 60 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of total booking amount • Dive trips being cancelled due to bad weather not refundable • If as a result of a major force, such as the current pandemic caused by Covid-19 the trip cannot be made on the scheduled dates, the amount paid is not refundable and the trip will be rescheduled for other dates in accordance with the availability of the client and Mozambique Experience •

These are the various accommodation options that we have in the different destinations where we will be during the stay of the aforementioned program. Depending on the budget we recommend one or the other. For more detailed information on each one, you can visit the accommodation section. All options include en-suite rooms with the possibility of a double bed or separate beds, cleaning service, Wi-fi, 24-hour security, and some with a swimming pool, bar and restaurant.
